ƹ϶Ƶ lawmakers have renamed the “Fallen Linemen” license plate to “Fallen Lineworkers” license plate and approved the distribution of money raised from the sale of the plates to . The $10 contributions from license plate sales were previously directed to the Fallen Linemen Organization, which, for reasons unknown, had not accepted the contributions. Once the bill is signed into law in the coming days, new and existing contributions from license plate sales will be directed to The Community Foundation of ƹ϶Ƶ’s Electric Cooperatives, and will be used to recognize and memorialize both injured and fallen lineworkers and their families.
